Tattoo

Tuesday 30th March 2010

I had the first two hour sitting of my tattoo, and after three tubes of Ametop numbing cream and Paracetemol to ease the pain i didn't feel a thing for the first hour! However, the second hour i did, but it was more uncomfortable than anything, the only bits that did hurt were on my spine and shoulder blades. Cleaning the thing four times a day has become the biggest inconvienience throughout the whole occurance, not only does it interfere with my hectic days, but at first it was particulary tender and caused discomfort, especially having to wear cling film to bed for the first four nights, now however, it feels great! So far i am very impressed with its appearance and am extatic to have the finished result..

Here is the tattoo after my first sitting.

Saturday 10th April 2010

This was the date of my second sitting, first of all the time in which my appointment was supposed to be was rearranged to 3:00pm instead of 2:00pm, so there i was 3:00pm on the dot! but as tattooing can take longer sometimes people are left to wait in the waiting area anticipating if the pain is going to be worse than last time for over 45 minutes whilst her mother is continously asking if she is nervous despite her previous experience of the procedure. This time, like the last i did use the three tubes of Ametop numbing cream so that i would hopefully feel no pain for the first hour like before, little did i know that by the time i had finally began the two hour sitting that the cream had already began to wear off, first couple of seconds..pleasantly nothing...as the seconds turned into minutes... lets just say i wasn't impressed. For the majority of the first hour my face was scrunched up into itself from the pain i was trying to overcome, after countless comments of my comic expression from my mother i became relaxed and embraced the pain, although it sounds worse i became more chilled and once my bodies automatic numbness kicked in, the pain decreased and it then became more uncomfortable than painfull but there was still pain none the less. The tattoo duration went over the two hours and in fact lasted a further 30 mintues but i will tell you now...i am not complaining, the fellow tattooists had finished for the day so came in to admire the progress, and all commented on my design and how well Maria (The tattooist) had done..and she had done a great job. Then to my delight the beautiful man came through the door,  (crushes are fine!) he was one of the tattooists, every thing about this man was a work of art, from his beard down to his Vans, he had the smile, the style, the jokes, the tattoo's all he was missing was a piercing and a guitar! He seemed a little daft i would say, but not in an annoying way.. he was obviously too old for me but even my mother said he was handsome and said that he was flirting..which i was strangely surprised at, anyway overall i am glad there is no more pain to experience and that my tattoo is finally finished, i am very pleased with the outcome and would definately recommend Abracadabra Tattoo, Maria Fleet was a pleasure to talk to and in my opinion did a fantastic job!
